We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager, R&D, to lead cross-functional project teams from concept through commercialization within a regulated environment. This position is responsible for driving complex medical device (or life sciences) development programs, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality, compliant products aligned with business objectives.
This is a priority role within our organization — we are looking for a proven leader who combines strong project management fundamentals with strategic thinking, technical understanding, and the ability to align diverse stakeholders across functions
What You’ll Do
- Lead full project lifecycles — from concept through development, V&V, and launch.
- Take ownership of complex, cross-functional programs in a regulated (medical device) environment.
- Manage schedules, risks, and resources to keep projects on track.
- Collaborate across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations to deliver results.
- Apply strong PM fundamentals — Gantt charts, risk registers, dashboards — to drive execution.
- Think strategically, solve problems creatively, and keep teams aligned.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of R&D project management experience (medical device or regulated industry preferred).
- Proven success leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.
- Strong knowledge of design controls, V&V, and compliance requirements.
- Skilled in PM tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
- PMP or equivalent certification a plus.
