Overview
A VC backed Fintech is seeking an experienced Product Counsel reporting into the Divisional General Counsel. This role will provide product support across the securities and regulatory space. You will also have the opportunity for regular collaboration across various departments, as well as the ability to gain in-house experience in an exciting and fast paced industry.
Location
Hybrid role (2 days per week) open to San Francisco, or New York City
Base pay range
$260,000.00/yr - $340,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
- Advising product teams on product structure, regulatory compliance, including relevant securities and privacy laws (such as 33 and 34 Act) and privacy regulations
- Work closely with product, engineering, information security, and compliance teams
- Support in other general legal areas as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years legal experience with a mix of big law firm and in-house experience within financial services and/or fintech industries (e.g., registered investment firm, broker-dealer)
- JD from a top law school
