Description Summary: The Baylor College of Medicine Department of Pediatrics is seeking a dedicated and talented pediatric emergency physician to join our esteemed Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at CHRISTUS Children's. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual eager to work in a bustling downtown emergency department that handles a diverse mix of complex cases along with common pediatric illnesses and injuries.

Our state-of-the-art, 44-bed pediatric ER sees approximately 70,000 visits each year and is designated as a Level 3 trauma center. You will be supported by Advanced Practice Providers committed to delivering exceptional care.

Job Duties: As a pediatric emergency physician, you will be responsible for:

• Providing comprehensive care to critically ill and injured children in an emergency department setting.
• Teaching and mentoring fellows, residents, medical students, and staff.
• Overseeing the section's administrative initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: M.D./DO degree, completed Pediatric Emergency Fellowship.
• Certification/Licenses: Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (or eligible for same). Board certification in General Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (or eligible for same). Current certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
