Overview
One Voice Fundraising is looking for outgoing, confident and passionate activists to join our fundraising team in NYC. Hours: Full Time - Monday to Sunday 9:30am-5pm. Pay: $18-30/hour plus uncapped bonuses. You will help displaced and refugee adults and children access safety, healing and life-sustaining support while building communication and leadership skills.
We partner with organizations such as The International Rescue Committee, Save the Children and Amnesty International to generate vital funds for donors and communities worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Work with your team on different streets in the city to engage in conversations with the public and invite them to become ongoing donors for the represented non-profit.
- Raise long-term sustainable funds and have immediate and lasting impact on people in need around the world.
- Participate in full training and ongoing development to improve fundraising effectiveness.
- Represent the organization in a positive, professional and energetic manner.
Qualifications
- No experience required; full, paid training provided.
- Highly confident, sociable individuals who thrive in a high-energy, team environment.
- Passionate activists who care about making an impact and the world a better place.
- Charismatic communicators who enjoy meaningful, engaging conversations.
- Belief that every conversation can have an impact; comfortable working outdoors and traveling to various locations in NY.
- Experience in relevant sectors (e.g., performing arts, canvassing, sales, restaurant/hospitality, activism, public speaking) is a plus.
- Must be 18 years or older and able to work full-time for a minimum of 3 months.
